Watching streams using android tablet

We have now covered the basics in streaming DVB video content over the internet. If you are on the go and have some internet access you can easilly watch this streams using your chinese android tablet. All you will need is an Android running tablet, internet connection (wifi will do the best) and some streaming software. In my experience MX Player which can be found on Android Market does it the best.
Just open MX player and after it loads choose Menu key. It will then offer you to play network stream. Now all you have to do is enter the network path to your stream and start enjoying it.

DVB-T streaming

In this post I will try to explain what is the easiest way to stream digital terrestrial channels (DVB-T) over internet. All you will need for this is a cheap DVB-T tuner (easily obtained on Ebay, Amazon,...)
Install the supplied drivers and check if the device is working fine on your system.
The next thing is to install VLC player. You can download it at www.videolan.org

Then you will have to tune to the channel you want to stream.

You can find detailed information on what frequency it is broadcasted from your DVB-T provider.

When you can watch it locally you can start streaming.
